Product Description

The name Terra Blanca, Latin for white earth, is named for the high calcium carbonate content that whitens soils of our Red Mountain vineyard and helps produce the incredible depth and structure in the grapes. The first grapes were harvested from our estate vineyard in 1997. Fermentation in both open and closed tanks with a variety of yeast types and some multiple yeast fermentation help to create wines with huge fruit flavors and fine well integrated tannins. Maturation for up to 32 months in small French oak barrels (35% new). Selected lots and individual barrels were selected to showcase our estate vineyard.
